In Jule 2016 “Turris” HMG started managing another health resort in Crimea – recreation center “Solnyshko” in the village Olenevka (CapeTarkhankut). The Third Hotel and Marketing Conference in Moscow On 1st -2nd June, Moscow hosted the Third specialized Hotel and Marketing Conference, devoted to the issues of hotels management. This Conference brought together hoteliers from all over the country. The 31st Awards Ceremony of the leaders of economy of the Commonwealth countries, which are included into the Union of National business rating, took place on May 28th in Batumi (Georgia). The Ceremony was attended by the representatives of successful companies from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Ukraine. On 22nd-24th May, Kazan (Tatarstan) hosted All-Russian forum “Zdravnitsa -2016”, at which “Turris” hotels group became the best company in organization of management and marketing. A regular meeting at the “Turris” Club for kids in “Baltiets” resort hotel took place on 23 April. Continuing the topic of cinema, as stated in the beginning of the year, the film writer-director from St. Petersburg Sophia A. Livshits visited “Turris” Club for kids. She introduced the children to the basics of her profession, shared the secrets of writing a competent screen story and taught children the storyboard, using which you can easily translate the script into a real movie! On 22 April, 2016 there have been summed up the two-day professional industry contest “Serebryanaya chayka” - 2016, organized by “Turris” HMG together with the Association of North-West Resorts. This competition was held for the first time in St. Petersburg, but, as the saying goes, “the first pancake is not always lumpy”. The waiters of resorts of St. Petersburg, Novgorod Region and the Moscow region shown and proved their skills. The contest was held in six phases, where participants had to compete in the ability to fold the napkins, work with a tray, lay the table, and quickly, accurately, and the most important - correctly answer questions related to the profession of a waiter. As a result, the winner of “Serebryanaya chayka”-2016 in the category The Best waiter was Tatiana Alexeeva from “White Nights” health resort, the second place was Catherine Kryukova, the waiter from “Vostok-6” health resort. And the thirdplacewentto the guest from Moscow - Alyona Rostova, the waiter from “Park Drakino” spa-resort hotel. All winners were awarded with a statuette “Serebryanaya chayka”, and the waiter from Staraya Russa - Marina Novitskaya won the hearts of the audience and took home not only the degree of contest participants, but also the Audience Choice Award.
